Strategic Finance Lead

Summary

We're hiring a Strategic Finance Lead to own financial planning, market research, and light accounting oversight for Normcore. We're looking for someone who can build financial models, identify new revenue opportunities, and write code to automate the boring stuff.

Key Qualifications

• Experience building financial models, projections, and scenario analyses for a technology company. Strategic finance or FP&A experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS or usage based business models and pricing.
• Experience conducting market research to identify new revenue streams and growth opportunities.
• Comfort managing external relationships with bookkeepers and accountants.
• Some software engineering experience. You don't need to be a full time developer, but you should be comfortable writing code for small internal tools and automation workflows.
• Experience at a startup or high growth technology company is a plus.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure or developer tools businesses is a plus.

Description

Normcore provides real-time multiplayer APIs for game developers. We're growing and we need someone to own the financial side of the business.

We're hiring a Strategic Finance Lead to build out our financial planning, lead market research, and provide light oversight of our accounting. You'll build and maintain financial models, work with leadership to figure out where the business is headed, and research opportunities to grow our revenue. You'll also work with our accountants to keep things running smoothly. This is not primarily an accounting role, but we want someone who can own it end to end.

This is a full-time remote role. You'll work closely with leadership and engineering to understand our products and translate that into a clear financial picture. We're a small team, so you'll have a lot of ownership and a lot of room to build out the function the way you think it should be built.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
